Young Professionals Connect (YPC) is a social enterprise that aims to provide a platform for young professionals to connect, and create networking and learning opportunities that will support progression into senior leadership positions
We are committed to achieving this through strategic partnerships with businesses and experienced professionals in order to create an international network to support growth and provide career opportunities for our members.
YPC also aims to prepare young people for the workforce, and help young people get back into the workforce through; CV clinics, skills development, training, career counselling with mentors, short courses and regular networking events. YPC is an initiative created by the Great Light Connections
charity, and managed by a group of dedicated young professionals working in various industries ranging from healthcare to finance.
Mission Statement
YPC is an initiative created to support young professionals in advancing in their chosen careers. We provide a platform that creates networking and learning opportunities, where young professionals can explore and increase their knowledge of various industries and roles they may be interested in. Our mission is to empower, equip and encourage young professionals to attain senior leadership positions in their careers; enabling them to become the best version of themselves professionally.
We aim to provide an avenue for young professionals to meet and learn from industry leaders, to create strong business relationships and to provide personal development training required to support their career progression.
Great Light Connections (GLC)
Great Light Connections is a charity based in Canary Wharf. GLC’s mission is to continuously create an enabling environment where people will develop and thrive in their communities. We are committed to seeing people realise their full potential. Other GLC initiatives include:
An outreach project providing London’s rough sleepers with care packages to support them through the harsh winters.
Providing a platform for people to connect, grow, and serve their local communities through strategic partnerships with local charities, consistently providing them with a diverse pool of volunteers. www.glcvn.org.uk
